Jeanne started volunteering for Room to Grow in 2023 and ran the NYC Marathon for Room to Grow in 2024. Jeanne has over 20 years of experience in childhood education. She has taught at various schools throughout New York City and spent several years in preschool admissions. She graduated from Cornell University in 1999 with a B.S. in Human Development. She completed a post-baccalaureate premedical program at Hofstra University in 2004 and earned her master’s degree in childhood education from St. John’s University in 2011. Her knowledge of child development and longstanding commitment to children’s education and well-being lead Jeanne to Room to Grow. Jeanne believes deeply in the Room to Grow mission and is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the other members of the New York Leadership Council to help support Room to Grow and its families. Jeanne resides in Manhattan with her husband, Ken, and two high schoolers, Katie and Ben. She loves spending time with her family, traveling to new places, reading a good novel, and immersing herself in her latest painting or sculpture projects.
