Since day one, Room to Grow has aimed to create a warm and welcoming space for everyone who walks through our doors - respecting, honoring, and valuing the varying and diverse life experiences of those in our community.
We work to close social, racial, and economic gaps that are a result of deeply rooted systems of oppression that dates back to our country’s founding and continue to impact families and their children today. Our evidence-informed approach helps families of young children strengthen their knowledge, skills, and confidence so they can foster equitable opportunities for their children to thrive from the start.
We are committed to bringing diversity, equity, and inclusion into every aspect of our organization and strive to create a safe, collaborative space that honors, celebrates and respects different perspectives, beliefs, and opinions. We encourage those in our community to be their true and authentic selves, work to build a welcoming and safe environment, and strive to create an open and inclusive culture that earns the trust of those in our community.

Accountability
As we work to create a more equitable world, we aim to elevate all voices within our community by creating space to reflect as topics arise. We consistently hold ourselves accountable to creating a workplace that is inclusive and true to our core values. To ensure accountability, we have positioned members of our Room to Grow Equity Council to serve as our DEI conscience and advisors across the organization for all DEI efforts.
