Natalia Sanchez-Artu
Coordinator, 1st Hour Family Support

Born in Puerto Rico and a transatlantic migrant, Natalia is proud to be the first in both of her families to pursue a Master's degree. Before joining Room to Grow, she worked in nonprofit settings and education, focusing on advocacy in schools and developing programs that benefit both families and employees. Natalia holds a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Indigenous Studies from UMass Boston and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Simmons University.

As a former participant in Room to Grow, Natalia deeply understands the impact this organization has on families, having experienced its benefits firsthand. She is excited to join the team as a bilingual clinician, where she can continue supporting families in a meaningful way. Outside of work, Natalia enjoys traveling, staying active through workouts, and spending quality time with her family.
