Kate D. joined Room to Grow as a participant in 2015 and graduated with her son in 2018. Kate joined the Boston chapter of the Room to Grow Parent Advisory Council, CARE-MECA in April 2019 to support the program initiatives and help recruit new families in the Greater Boston area. She is a foodie who enjoys trying new restaurants, reading, going on adventures and spending time with her children. Kate has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from Northeastern, and a Master of Science in Social Work from Boston College.
