Abyah Wynn
New York Leadership Council
A pioneer for entrepreneurs of color in venture capital, Abyah Wynn has built profitable partnerships for investors and entrepreneurs around the world. Abyah is a Fund Manager at a global wealth management firm that specializes in guiding diverse clients across sports, entertainment, and entrepreneurism to financial security and generational wealth.
Notably, Abyah is spearheading the TRUE Culture Fund, the firm's first fund dedicated to investing in Black founders and fund managers. She has a goal of helping Black founders close their rounds and raise subsequent rounds, which is notoriously challenging for founders of color.
Prior to launching True Culture, Abyah served as Vice President of US Operations at Trimantium Capital, where she co-founded the firm’s Twenty65 Fund, an investment fund that she created to democratize access to capital for underrepresented entrepreneurs, especially women of color.
Abyah is an alumna of Pepperdine University, where she studied advertising and marketing. Her commitment to social justice and economic empowerment is reflected in the focus of her volunteer work. Abyah is from Atlanta and currently lives in New York City.
