Human Resource Strategic Advisor, Fidelity Investments

Lionel Harris has been a Strategic Advisor to Fidelity Investments’ Human Resources Enterprise Group, focusing on employee diversity and engagement, since July 2018. Between 2018 and 2020, he also served on the board of Southeastern Grocers, a Florida-based food retailer. During the preceding 13 years, Mr. Harris was a Portfolio Manager for Fidelity’s family of small-cap mutual funds. Prior to assuming fund management responsibilities in 2005, Mr. Harris served as Managing Director of Research for Fidelity’s High Income division. He joined Fidelity’s High Income division as a High-Yield Bond Analyst in 1995 and has been in the investment industry since 1989.

Mr. Harris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and his Master of Business Administration degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
