Ann Easterbrooks joined the Room to Grow National Advisory Council in 2016. She is a professor in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University, and Principal at the Tufts Interdisciplinary Evaluation Research (TIER) group. Ann's research and teaching focuses on understanding human development in social and ecological contexts of relationships, families, and communities. TIER is committed to conducting high-quality, collaborative evaluation research that contributes to expanding usable knowledge in fields such as applied developmental science, policy science, and urban planning, and to improving policies and programs for children, families, and communities. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan and completed a postdoc in Developmental Psychobiology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Ann sits on the Advisory Board for Growing Together, a clinical intervention for opioid-using mothers and their infants, and is a founding member and secretary of the Massachusetts Association for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (MassAIMH).
