Allison Luciano joined Room to Grow NY in December 2016, excited to take on the in-kind donation and volunteer programs. Since then, Allison overhauled the system, and now oversees a team responsible for processing all items that are distributed to families participating in the Room to Grow New York region. Allison is committed to creating a fair and just society and, having grown up in NYC, brings years of local experience to the team. Prior to joining Room to Grow, Allison oversaw inventory at Uniqlo's 5th Avenue flagship location, creating initial allocation strategies and controlling over $8M in inventory. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from New York University in Metropolitan Studies, where she interned with The Legal Aid Society, served as an AmeriCorps member with St. Francis Xavier Mission, and volunteered in rural Nicaragua through Amigos de las Américas.
