Va$htie

Affectionately known as Downtown’s Sweetheart, Va$htie is a multifaceted New York-based director, designer, and DJ. She has cultivated the Downtown New York City scene as a style icon, but her curatorial outreach and influence span worldwide. Even Drake gave her a shoutout in his Migos feature for the 2018 song, Walk It Talk It. Va$htie seamlessly moves among fashion, film, and music, emerging as “A Role Model for Young Tastemakers,” as profiled by The New York Times in their Style section.

Va$htie is the first woman to design a Jordan sneaker and has also collaborated with Puma, G-Shock, Kiehl's, Pine-Sol, and more. As a director, she has worked notably with Kendrick Lamar, Justin Bieber, Solange, Kid Cudi, and others. As a DJ, she has performed for Madonna, Prince, Drake, Dior, Fendi, Ray-Ban Meta, Aimé Leon Dore, Moët & Chandon, and in major nightclubs worldwide. As a brand ambassador, she has been featured in international print campaigns with Swarovski, Viktor & Rolf Fragrance, L’Oreal, and DKNY, and starred in a four-part Toshiba TV commercial campaign. As a model, she has been featured in countless print and digital editorials, including Nylon, Ebony, Time Out, and Cosmopolitan. She has also walked in fashion shows for DKNY and Koche.

Most recently, she has designed a stroller with Doona, directed a short film for Bleacher Report, and was featured in a Dior print editorial as well as a Nissan ad. She is actively involved in charities such as Room To Grow and ASPCA, with much more on the way.
