Celebrating Parents’ Day: Putting Family and Community First with UPPAbaby and Room to Grow

With Parents’ Day around the corner on July 28, we are reminded that the caretaking journey and the family you build can extend far beyond the four walls of a home. The community and village that supports, nurtures, and uplifts you can also be your family.
Room to Grow helps connect over 1,000 families each year to a village through our team, community partners, product partners, volunteers, and sponsors. We are intentional about partnering with individuals and organizations who share our mission of promoting equity and opportunity during a child’s earliest years. One of these partners who similarly puts family first is UPPAbaby, a global company with intuitively designed juvenile gear with features parents rely on. Room to Grow’s partnership with UPPAbaby has embodied the spirit of family and community since 2013.
Parenthood, Understood
UPPAbaby, founded in 2006 by parents who experienced firsthand the challenges of finding baby gear that was not impractical or complicated, prioritizes creating products that make parents’ and caregivers’ lives easier. They know what it’s like to be a parent and believe that all caregivers deserve less hassle and more quality time with their family.
Throughout our partnership, UPPAbaby has donated over $1,000,000 to Room to Grow through the UPPAbaby Gives Back® program. In 2024 alone, they donated baby gear valued over $200,000 to Room to Grow. That’s 280 items, including strollers and play yards, providing safety for little ones and peace of mind and convenience for parents. This partnership has provided countless families with support, not only allowing us to continue helping their children thrive, but also alleviating the stress for parents and caregivers that comes with finding and affording necessary material items for their child. With UPPAbaby and Room to Grow, our families are welcomed into a community that offers peace of mind and practical support — essentials for any parent or caregiver.
