| Volunteer in New York Weekly Inventory Sorting Opportunities We are consistently in need of reliable volunteers to help organize and prepare our inventory of infant and toddler clothing, toys, books and equipment. This is a great opportunity for students, retirees or new parents who may bring their non-mobile babies with them while they volunteer. A minimum of 4 hours per week from Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm is required. For those interested in becoming a weekly volunteer, please click here for a volunteer application form. Fax form to 212.620.3021 or email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Once a completed application has been received, the individual will be invited to come in for a tour of the space. Provided both parties are in agreement, the prospective volunteer will be invited to participate in a three-week trial period. After successful completion of the trial period, the volunteer will be invited to join Room to Grow's volunteer program on a more permanent basis. Please understand that we are continuously enrolling new volunteers, but space is limited. We encourage everyone to apply, but regretfully cannot guarantee that we have the capacity to accommodate all interested parties. Seasonal Switch Twice a year we switch our entire inventory over with the change of seasons and always need volunteers to help. Corporate Groups Our New York office can make special accommodations for corporate groups during our Seasonal Switch days or at other times during the year for team bonding experiences. New York Cares Volunteer Groups New York Cares organizes groups of volunteers to help at our New York space four times a month. Volunteer sessions are available on weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Click here to get information about signing up to volunteer with New York Cares. Organize A Collection Drive Room to Grow holds dozens of in-kind collection drives per year through schools, churches, synagogues, mommies' groups, businesses and other organizations. Organize a collection drive at your place of business, child's school or other affiliation. It is easy and rewarding! Room to Grow's staff can help you with the details.
